catch-22 is by far the worst book i've ever read.
in my entire
life.
i originally checked it out on july eighth, and since then i've 'read' eighteen pages. i don't really recall any of those.
it's august twenty-second, and i think it's about time i finish this book, so i sit down, and put a blanket across my legs because it was cold in here, and opened up this blue-covered monstrosity. you're talking so loud in the other room that i can't even slightly comprehend the story-line, not that's it's clean or anything, or the fact that every sentence introduces a character with a more exotic and less-memorable name. i put in my ear-buds because they are 'noise-eliminating' and i figured that'd rule you out. well i was right, kind of. these wires are so 'advanced' that they amplify anything going through them, and since i didn't plug them into anything, the only noise going through them is my heart beat that i can feel in my ears, and i can hear every single time oxygen fills my lungs.
so i just stopped breathing for a few pages because in that time i can actually try to concentrate on this story.
then i got a knock at the door, and it was mom, telling me i should come out into the kitchen and welcome her friend to the house and some other things that she was saying with her lips but i couldn't hear her with my 'noise-eliminating' ear-buds.
trying to read this book is like trying to thread rope through a needle.
it's just literally
not
going
to
happen.
