i don't think i'll ever grasp the concept of art. some of it is truly phenomenal, like you're either there, or looking at a picture of it, or it's just this collision of thoughts slapped onto a stretched canvas hanging on the wall of the building you're in. except i don't understand modern art. i could, literally, screw the cap of a bottle of water on just a little bit crooked so every time you tried to turn it, it popped, and i would call it 'a little off' and it would be art and people would pay me three thousand dollars for my water bottle that i got for one. or, perhaps, i could take off a sock i was wearing in such a fashion that it's inside out, and i would literally call it, 'inside out' or 'outside in' and people would find that just genius? would people buy my old socks to hang around their house?
i think if i keep up with my sock-taking-off, or being so rushed that i can't take the time to line up the plastic valleys with the plastic mountains on my water bottle and i just smash it on and listen to it pop, i could become literally rich.
